Attorney Profiles

Scott B. Dolezal graduated cum laude from American University 's Washington College of Law in 2001. Since graduating, a significant portion of his practice has consisted of municipal defense.  He has defended municipal employees in federal courts throughout Illinois and Indiana and Illinois state courts.  He has represented police officers in a wide variety of cases, including false arrest, excessive force, coerced confession, deprivation of medical care, and wrongful confinement cases.  He has also represented Sheriff's departments in cases challenging conditions of confinement.  His work has included representing municipal bodies in defending employment and construction related matters.

In addition to representing municipalities, Mr. Dolezal has represented business and corporations in a variety of matters, including products liability, construction litigation, and wrongful death cases.  He has drafted appeals in both the Seventh Circuit and Illinois Court of Appeals.  Mr. Dolezal is admitted to practice in Illinois , the Northern and Southern District of Illinois, and the Northern and Southern District of Indiana.
